A few other points on the name:
We are called "Lawvoyage" on the website that BJ maintains. More
importantly, when Cindy Cicco ordered the signs and established us as an
affiliate group with AALL, she called us the: Voyager Law Users Group
Meeting.
"VLUGM"
"Oh, excuse you..."
This technically does not violate the use of "VUG" or "Voyager User
Group" and makes things consistent as far as organizing AALL events.
However, what Melody brings up about SIS and Caucus is very interesting
(as far as scheduling and support from AALL - though I do not know what
affect it has). Let's discuss this. We *may* have 50 voting members,
but if not, then maybe we should try to form a caucus...although, there
appears to be only one caucus with a meeting scheduled: "Document
Delivery/ILL Caucus"
BTW, I really like "LAWAGER" - we can define it as 'when two worlds
collide'!!

Time to make it official at our meeting at AALL. We need to decide
on a new name, one that is easily called by its initials, of course.
Within AALL we also have some restrictions. For instance, we can't
be an official SIS unless we have 50 voting AALL members. But we
could be a registered caucus. This might make room scheduling and
getting on the AALL program easier.
ALA uses the SIG form for Special Interest Group.
For instance, Health Sciences SIG of the Voyager Users Group is a
name in use.
So think of some combinations. Break new ground. Let's don't be
like all the rest.
VLC = Voyager Law Caucus
VLSIG = Voyager Law Special Interest Group or even just LSIG
VOYLAW or LAWVOYSIG
Create a new word: LAWAGER? For Law and Voyager combined?
Surely you guys can be more creative than me!
