Thanks Barbara. It does help knowing I can go to a far extreme to delete the component and start over. However, in many cases I would have to sacrifice close to 10 years of receipt history in Voyager if I deleted and started over; I am not sure it's worth it just to get rid of a wrong CPP... Thanks, Andrea

Hi Andrea,
I have noticed this as well. I have come to the conclusion that even though a pattern is closed the component still remains attached. If I am creating a pattern and want to redo it before there is any history, I will delete the entire component and start over. This seems to make it detach completely and then I can delete the pattern with the mistake.
  Hope this helps,
  Barb

Hello fellow Law Voyager Users,
I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble with Complex Prediction Patterns (CPP). Here is a recurring problem that I have encountered: 1. I create a new CPP, e.g. three nos. a yr. (3) IAS: no(R) mo yr CP
(this is our weird naming convention for 3x/yr. with a label before no. mo. yr. of Interim Annotation Service, where no. restarts each year) 2. I assign it to a component, e.g. Michigan Compiled Laws, interim annotation service 3. I notice I forgot to add the number (no.) element to the pattern - so it's really just three nos. a yr. (3) IAS: month year CPP 4. So I close the pattern for this component and return to the New CPP area 5. This time I really do create a new CPP with three nos. a yr. (3) IAS: no(R) mo yr CP 6. I assign it to a component, e.g. Michigan Compiled Laws, interim annotation service, and it works beautifully 7. I try to delete the first instance of three nos. a yr. (3) IAS: no(R) mo yr CP but it says it is still attached to the Michigan Compiled Laws, interim annotation service - which it is not, because I closed the pattern in step 4. 8. I rename it, and try again to delete it, but it still says that Michigan Compiled Laws, interim annotation service is an Attached Publication
This is the fourth time I have had this happen. Has anyone else noticed this? Andrea
