Hello again,
If you'll be attending EndUser we invite you to help out with
monitoring the Internet Café. We've had a good response to our first
call for volunteers, but we still have some open shifts to fill on all
days of the conference (so you can take your pick!)
The ground rules are pretty simple: to verify that only people with
EndUser conference badges use the Café, and to provide a friendly point
of contact should Café users have any computer problems. You don't need
to have any computer troubleshooting skills yourself -- ExLibris staff
will provide all necessary technical support. More details on what's
involved in being a Café volunteer can be viewed at
http://internetcafe.pbwiki.com. Each shift lasts one hour, with a few
minutes on either side for transitioning to the next volunteer.
In addition to the undying gratitude of the Café coordinators, Café
volunteers will receive a $10 Amazon gift certificate for their
assistance. (While we'll be thrilled if you sign up for more than one
shift, we're unfortunately only able to give out one gift certificate
per person.)
To sign up, enter your name & email address on the wiki schedule at
http://internetcafe.pbwiki.com/ under the link labeled "Internet Cafe
Schedule." When asked for a password, use "enduser" (without the
quotes). If you'd prefer, you can also sign up by sending an email to
either of the Café coordinators at the addresses below.
Any questions? Please contact us!
Many thanks again for your help,
