Subject: Getting together with ELUNA LAW @ AALL [was RE: [lawvoyage] LAW SIG meeting at EndUser] Date: Tue, 1 May 2007 16:29:15 -0400 Message-ID: <B13E1EDC08FD084C82949995408FB7273B6908@SUEXCL-01.ad.syr.edu> From: "Andrea Rabbia" <arrabbia@law.syr.edu>
I agree with Ruth. I think meeting with some of the ELUNA-LAW members is
a fantastic idea. I am not sure how big their Law-SIG is, but according
to their website Jon Lutz [jlutz@law.fsu.edu] is their moderator.
Perhaps if there is enough interest among us, Ruth could contact Jon to
see if there is any interest on their part?
FYI, ELUNA does have a Law Group (listed here:
http://www.elu-na.org/interestgroups.asp ) as well as a ELUNA Law
Library discussion list: ELUNA-LAW-IG-L

Subject: [lawvoyage] LAW SIG meeting at EndUser
The LAW SIG met at EndUser, and minutes from that meeting are attached
to this email.
Apparently the SIGs will continue to function at some level in the
newly-expanded ELUNA organization. With that in mind, I would like to
suggest that we find a way to connect with our Aleph user colleagues in
New Orleans. Rather than something with formal structure, I suggest
something light and social. How about a joint expedition to Cafe du
Monde for caffeine and beignets--or even just a simple BYOB with chips
and a game of charades in someone's room?
Please share your thoughts with the list--especially if you are familiar
with New Orleans!
Best wishes,
